Progress / Neutral Scoring

Working on the tables. How would I consider the 50/50 Peace/War Journalism,  shall i create an additional category and call it neutral or balanced?

Starting Analysis

Our group is done with all coding, and now started making the tables and understanding the findings and results of our collected data. by tomorrow we shall be able to start writing our research reports based on the outcomes we have in hands Abdallah

We are all done with coding process and started today our analysis and making tables and charts needed to answer our research questions. Abdallah

Finished with the coding process , Now we are working on the analysis , and trying to find connection/ variation  between the traditional and social media , and the international and national media  .

I am done of coding 1000 tweets of 5 bloggers and guess what, I am still alive Abdallah

DONE with the coding test for 2 coders and 3 coders , the persent of the agreement are 100 , 90 , and 80 persent , now  we are going ahead with the coding for the rest of the data accordigly .  

Progress update (Egypt Tweets)

I bought access to the book tweets  from Tahrir from the Library of Alexandria (www.bibalex.org) DAR project, which gave me access to the book online for 3 days in order to enable me getting more accurate data on the “Tweets from Tahrir” book such as name of bloggers and their exact tweets with the dates. Top twitters

Horry, I managed to get the list of the top 60 twitters from Tahrir at the time of the revolution. Now I can take the top 5 of them and take 200-250 tweets of them to be the final sample of my paper. The tweeters featured in this list were all featured in the book Tweets [...]

Great team as we are able to complete the greater parts of our data collection  for variability test.

Progress

We finished collecting the data for our  project  , that include the traditional media national and international , and the social media (tweets) . Currently we are  conducting  the ReCal3 test for 8 English langusge Articls , and the Recal2 for another 8 Arabic language articles , and 100 tweets .  

I have spent almost 3hours trying to open our specimen papers without luck. Hopefully I should get it done.
