Starting the interpretation

Today, we created different maps for our analysis. We created one for the general discourse on the coup in Mali. Then we created some a comparison map between newspapers and channels, comparison between. Furthermore, we created three trend maps (one for all sources, one for the newspapers and one for the channels).

We agreed on the settings so that we all know how to create these maps in the same way and talked about different ways of interpretation. We went through all the options togehter and agreed on how to describe them in the paper. An interesting aspect is the sentiment lense which could be usable for the interpretation from a peace and war journalistic perspective in our individual papers.
