Work Progress Thursday
Today, we (the whole group) decided on the next steps:
1) We have to extract the data. Instead of using the whole database we will only take out the texts which were used between 20.3.2012 until 28.3.2012. Furthermore, we will onyl take the tweets which were posted in English. Chika tries to fulfill this tasks!
2) We all have to get familiar with the programme Leximancer. In order to do that, we watch youtube turtorials and read publications which used Leximan
Claire was assigned to type down our daily progress so that we will see when we did what in order to have everything documented for the writing up in the end!
Today I:
1. documeted our progress
2. read myself deeper into the world of Leximancer
–> tried to come closer to the answer to the Question “What is possible”.
as a step in the process of familiarizing ourselves with leximancer, i have collected several articles. will post them in a seperate blog post, so that we can have sort of a database for all the sources.
